I've made a variation of this rosary several times. One of the previous similar rosaries I made was rosary #19 for Carol, a high school classmate of mine. She subsequently gave that rosary to a friend so I made her this new one to replace it. However, I didn't have any more purple beads. So I hunted down these imitation Austrian crystal beads; 53 purple beads and 6 crystal colored. The centerpiece is the Miraculous Medal and the crucifix is a base metal with ornate features. I also hung a "W" charm on it, representing Green Bay West High School.
