The colors of this rosary just hit me. I had purchased the white howlite beads (which feature some light gray marbling) a few weeks earlier just because I liked them. I had the turquoise beads left over because I was originally going to use them in rosary #16 but changed my mind. So, I saw these two colors together in my supplies and just liked the combination. It actually reminds me of a number of things, including a '57 Chevy. 😀 The centerpiece is the Miraculous Medal, which features the inscription "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee" (I'm always amazed at how they can get so much text on such a small space). The back features the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, among other symbols. The crucifix is a simple image of Jesus nailed to a cross made of logs.
