Rosary Garden

Rosary #13 • Wed, Dec 2, 2020

My friend, fellow parishioner, and high school classmate, Carol, asked me to make a rosary for her to give as a Christmas gift to her husband. She had liked a color scheme that I used previously, one that I've taken a liking to myself. So we found these olivewood beads, and Carol found some burgundy beads with slight black marbling in them. They look like rose petal beads, but are much more sturdy and usable. I just love this color combination, wood with burgundy. The centerpiece says "Saint Christopher Pray For Us". The crucifix is a traditional crucifix with square edges and a slight black shadowing. The chain and medals are sterling silver. This was the first rosary I had made in over two years, long overdue.
